Table with pants!

Pants chair!
Hay!
So it turns out blogging is actually really dull when you've got nothing interesting to say.
But I'm going to try and keep it up, on the off chance something borderline interesting happens to either of us (and because blogs are nice).

Plus, I'm swimming in a sea of free time at the moment; having finished the first year of D&AD in a blaze of last mintue glory.
The results of which can be seen here:

Incase you're wondering, thats my "I'm so glad I condensed that 8 weeks of leisurely layout work into one fucking evening" face.

Schoolwork and sleeping aside, more or less all I've done for the last 2 months is run out of Frasier episodes to watch and lament about the slugs in our kitchen on a daily basis.

This must be a really fun blog to read!

But yeah... I'll do some more engaging posts sometime soon.
Joy upon never ending joy. D:

P.S] Heres a punishingly awesome mixtape of things I've been listening to lately! I imagine you'll love the whole thing and thank me for forever and ever and ever.

waterbears!

Tardigrades, probably the cutest of all the invertebrates.

"More than 1000 species of tardigrades have been described. Tardigrades occur over the entire world, from the high Himalayas (above 6,000 m), to the deep sea (below 4,000 m) and from the polar regions to the equator.
Tardigrades are polyextremophiles and are able to survive in extreme environments that would kill almost any other animal. Some can survive temperatures close to absolute zero[4], temperatures as high as 151 °C (303 °F), 1,000 times more radiation than any other animal[5], nearly a decade without water, and even the vacuum of space." (Wikipedia).

Dmitry's birthday card to me:

I'm so touched.

Yesterday there was an old woman on the train looking nervous and sitting on some kind of sterilized seat cover she had fashioned.
I was going to take a photograph but other people on the carriage started scowling at me.

[In retrospect, that probably didn't make for a bloggable talking point]

actual blogging!

Homely hedonism
I was hoping that if I kept blogging in the back of my mind for the whole week, interesting events would spring up and present themselves to me for easy documentation and commentary - but that really really hasn't happened.

Basically, all I've done is shop for food, watch a shit ton of Michael Palin's Pole to Pole and go to school. Except for wednesday when i had a pop at some typography, and Tuesday when we all sat around for hours and hours being the badass motherfucking young people we are. [See embarrassing/incriminating photo compilation above]

Ooh! ...and today I saw a 10 year old (or thereabouts) boy shouting at some woman from across the park about how she was an ugly bitch and he was going to kill her.
Which probably happens all the time - but I got kindof surprised when she turned round and was all "Oh yeah? Well fuck you!" back to him.

It was all pretty general so I didn't really get a good flavor for what might prompt a little boy and a mid 30's woman to start cussing each other out in public at 3 in the afternoon. I imagine she'd been trying to mug him or something.
